Job Title: Airport Manager/Program Manager, Public Safety and Security Division

Job Summary:

The Airport Manager/Program Manager is a key member of the airport management team, responsible for managing and coordinating complex projects within the Public Safety and Security division. This individual will work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing leadership and direction to staff and stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate projects within the Public Safety and Security division, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned staff, handle employee concerns, and complete performance evaluations
  • Develop and maintain department training programs, plans, and procedures, including those within the Airport Certification Manual (ACM) and Airport Security Program (ASP)
  • Comply with local, state, and federal codes and standards by directing and monitoring the work of staff, vendors, and contractors
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and work plans, and administer and monitor contracts
  • Prepare pre-bid materials, set up selection boards, and review bids and proposals
  • Develop communication plans and project status reports for key stakeholders
  • Interact with utility companies, city agencies, and other governmental agencies to obtain necessary permits and clearances
  • Matrix manage and coordinate the work of consultants and related personnel
  • Perform other related duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Oregon college Indiana Aviation Management, Airport Management, Oregon a closely related field
  • Three (3) years of professional project management experience Indiana the related occupational group, including planning, managing, and scheduling projects and preparing and reviewing contract documents
  • One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education
  • Ability to pass security and background checks for SIDA and CBP clearances
  • Experience working with SagesGov, PMWeb, Citiri, and Oracle procurement process and applications
  • Preferred qualifications include AAAE CM, AAE, ACE, designation, Oregon Advanced degree, and Project Management Institute – PMP and Agile certifications.
