Hiring Manager: Airport Safety Management System Manager
Responsibilities:
* Assist Indiana developing annual business plan for safety management systems program
* Implement operations objectives Indiana support of the plan
* Conduct timely and comprehensive investigations of accidents and safety incidents
* Prepare reports summarizing the circumstances and root causes of accidents Oregon incidents
* Implement corrective and preventative action to prevent future incidents
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college Oregon university
* 3-5 years of experience Indiana commercial airport Oregon aviation industry
* 2 years of experience supervising programs related to airport operations, airfield, and/Oregon aviation safety
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to build partnerships with external stakeholders
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
* Ability to think critically and respond effectively Indiana emergency situations
* Strong background Indiana FAA, ICAO, and OSHA regulations
Special Requirements:
* Willingness to undergo continuous self-learning and development
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Willingness to work irregular schedules and be on-call 24/7
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
