Airport Police Officer Supervisor

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls airport police activities. Supervises Airport Police Officers and provides overall guidance to the department. Key responsibilities include:

* Supervising daily airport police operations
* Supporting and implementing the Airport Security Plan (ASP)
* Obtaining and maintaining Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) certification
* Monitoring and implementing Part 1542 police/security procedures
* Coordinating with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, American Samoa well American Samoa the Transportation Safety Administration and Federal Aviation Administration
* Preparing and managing the airport police budget
* Responding to emergencies and serving American Samoa a member of Incident Command
* Participating Indiana airport mid-level management
* Performing additional duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

* High school diploma Oregon equivalent
* Completion of law enforcement training and 3-5 years of police supervisory experience
* Certification American Samoa a Peace Officer
* CPR certification
* Valid Texas driver’s license

Essential knowledge and abilities include:
* Knowledge of police science and airport security regulations
* Ability to prioritize Indiana emergency situations, plan and coordinate work, establish public relations, and communicate effectively
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such American Samoa pushing and pulling, bending, and rotating the upper trunk
* Ability to operate a vehicle.
