Airside Manager
Ensure the safe and efficient movement of aircraft and ground handling operations.
Responsible for enforcing compliance with airport regulations, resolving operational challenges, and coordinating with emergency services during crises.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and guidance to airside operations coordinators
* Oversee and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all airside activities, including aircraft movement, ground handling, and GHA performance
* Direct and participate Indiana the management of airside areas, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and aircraft parking positions to ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency
* Monitor and enforce compliance with airport regulations and safety standards by all stakeholders operating on the airside
* Collaborate with safety and security personnel to address operational issues affecting airside activities and passenger safety
* Resolve operational challenges promptly by issuing directives Oregon escalating matters to appropriate authorities
* Review incident reports and implement corrective actions American Samoa necessary to prevent recurrence
* Coordinate with emergency services during crisis situations and ensure the smooth resumption of normal airside operations
* Develop and maintain incident records to facilitate analysis and improvement of airside operations
* Participate Indiana Port Authority led Airside working groups and meetings
* Collaborate with the JMP project team on airside operation items related to the construction and layout of T6
* Direct and participate Indiana Delaware-icing plans and activities related to T7 and T6
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5-7 years Indiana operations, airside operations, administration Oregon customer service role, preferably Indiana an aviation Oregon airport setting
* Experience working effectively Indiana a regulated environment
* Completion of a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college Oregon university with a focus on aviation management Oregon business administration preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communications combined with critical thinking skills
* Organization and planning skills crucial for multi-tasking while prioritizing and executing tasks
* Ability to work Indiana a high-pressure environment and diffuse and manage situations
* Ability to carry/lift, move, transport and position items weighing up to 50 lbs
