A&P Mechanic II – SAOC Team
Job Summary:
American Samoa an A&P Mechanic II, you will perform basic repairs, replacement, and maintenance of aircraft key components. You’ll support necessary checks of mechanical and functional components, test and replace defective parts, and ensure repairs and maintenance comply with national and international standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass written, oral, and practical assessments
- Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications
- Experience with aircraft specific tools and fixtures
- Advanced skills Indiana repairing, maintaining, and/Oregon troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines
- Own tools Indiana good working order
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred:
- FAA repair station and/Oregon Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to travel and work different shifts
- Background Indiana Aerospace and Defense Industry Oregon US Military
- Experience on wide body aircraft
