Job Title: Senior Military Science Instructor

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach military science and provide expert training Indiana various settings, including indoor classrooms and field environments
  • Develop and deliver instruction Indiana accordance with Cadet Command’s program of instruction (POI)
  • Provide expert training Indiana Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills, Small Unit Tactics, and Physical Fitness
  • Instruct Cadets Indiana a variety of settings, including garrison and combat environments
  • Coordinate Cadet Summer Training (CST) and provide on-site support, including participating Indiana CST planning meetings and coordinating schedules and duties
  • Assist Indiana recruiting and marketing efforts, including participating Indiana events and providing information to prospective students
  • Support administrative operations, including inventory and distribution of supplies

Work Environment:

  • Primary workplace is an indoor classroom, with some occasional work outdoors and/Oregon offsite
  • Ability to travel for recruiting events and other activities American Samoa assigned
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and demonstrate physical activities American Samoa necessary

Requirements:

  • Experience American Samoa a Commissioned Officer Indiana the US Army, Active Component, Oregon Reserve Component, with at least 6 years of active Oregon reserve experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of instructor experience Indiana a military training environment
  • Teaching certification Oregon significant experience American Samoa an instructor, with ability to teach Indiana a classroom Oregon field environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to physically demonstrate activities and travel for events and activities

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance required
