Job Summary: The Senior Military Science Instructor provides expert instruction and training Indiana military science and field exercises, ensuring students’ successful application of theoretical knowledge Indiana practice during training and assessment events. Provides expert training Indiana warrior tasks, battle drills, and physical fitness, with a focus on teaching cadets on the leader-officer-NCO relationship Indiana both garrison and combat environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide military science instruction and training Indiana accordance with Army ROTC contracts and syllabi Indiana various settings, including classroom and field environments.
- Use various media and tools to teach theoretical knowledge and lesson objectives, ensuring students’ successful application Indiana practice during training and assessment events.
- Provide expert training Indiana warrior tasks and battle drills, American Samoa well American Samoa physical fitness, for cadets at all levels of ROTC programs.
- Instruct cadets on ethics, leadership, and officer-NCO relationships Indiana garrison and combat environments, including platoon and above levels.
- Provide expert support to Government personnel Indiana marketing/recruiting efforts, including participation Indiana recruiting events, freshman orientations, and assisting with prospect development.
- Gathers information and assists with answering questions from prospects and potential students about the Army ROTC program.

Travel Requirements: Local travel, occasional overnight travel.
Requirements:
- Minimum six (6) years’ experience American Samoa a Commissioned Officer Indiana the U.S. Army, Active Oregon Reserve Component, Oregon a Similar Agreement
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, operational procedures, and policies
- Possess knowledge and experience Indiana the effective use of small arms, ammunition, and pyrotechnics
- Possess computer skills, including operation of Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, and graphics programs; familiarity with email and internet environment and operations
- Willingness to undergo background checks for Position of Significant Trust and Authority (POSTA)
