Job Location: Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team, North Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Oregon Experienced Flight Readiness Technician (Level B Oregon C) to provide critical production support to the 787 Program Indiana North Charleston, South Carolina. This position requires performing routine final component installation and verification, systems operational functional validation testing, and troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing
• Assist Indiana troubleshooting system faults and repair of faulty components
• Assist with pre-flight and post-flight checks and perform maintenance and modification actions
• Resolve identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products
• Verify the accuracy of work performed and conduct self-inspection
• Assist Indiana performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 months of avionics and/Oregon electrical experience
• 6 months of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations
• 6 months of experience/knowledge with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related work experience Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
• 6 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, Oregon Manufacturing experience
• 6 months of 787 Program experience
• Familiarity with Boeing Production System

Education/Experience:

• Associate (Level B): 1-2 years of experience
• Experienced (Level C): 2-4 years of experience
