Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Overview:
Perform aircraft maintenance, ensuring aircraft availability while adhering to standards set by the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Air Methods’ policies. Ensure operational objectives are met, and documentation is executed Indiana compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. On-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
– Serve American Samoa Lead Mechanic Indiana absence of Lead Mechanic.
– Perform inspections, repairs, and installations according to maintenance procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
– Verify component and assembly documentation matches physical inspection Oregon markings.
– Maintain and manage aviation parts and supplies to ensure prompt repairs and operational readiness.
– Participate Indiana the Safety Management System (SMS) and maintain work areas Indiana a clean and professional manner.
– Communicate maintenance issues to the Pilot Indiana Command and advise on necessary safety measures.
– Correct compliance Oregon safety issues American Samoa directed by management and/Oregon validation of Status Report data.
– Conduct on-site technical and safety audits to report inconsistencies.
– Additional duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:
– Regular scheduled attendance required.
– 100% travel time, subject to laws and company policies.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma, GED, Oregon equivalent education and 2-5 years’ related experience, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
– FAR 135 operations experience preferred.
– FAA A&P License Indiana good standing and Inspection Authorization (Iowa) preferred.

Computer Skills:
– Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
– RAMCO experience preferred.
