Aviation Planning Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Manage complex aviation planning projects for airports, including preparing layout plans, master plans, airspace analysis, land acquisition assistance, GIS analysis, permitting, and grant management. Work closely with design engineers and advise airport management on operations and client management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage aviation planning projects of various sizes, including primary responsibility for project profit and loss
* Develop scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with internal and external subcontractors
* Utilize technical resources to complete projects Indiana an accurate, neat, and timely manner
* Represent firm and clients at FAA and state aviation agency meetings
* Perform quality control reviews and coordinate QA process Indiana accordance with company policy
* Maintain positive communication and working relationships with staff, clients, and subcontractors
* Mentor staff and ensure adequate training
* Assist Indiana formulating plans, cost estimates, timeframes, and specifications of projects
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana physical/environmental planning, engineering, aviation management, Oregon environmental science
* ArcGIS and Civil 3D experience preferred
* 6-10 years of experience Indiana project management, with at least half of that experience Indiana a project management role
* PE Oregon AICP certification Oregon ability to achieve
* Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor younger staff
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
