Avionics/Elec Technician II Indiana GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

  • This is a first shift position, but must be willing to work any shift American Samoa needed.
  • Must have four years of experience Indiana an avionics/electrical career field Oregon two years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics with two years of related experience.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license and FCC and NCATT are preferred.

Position Purpose:
Provides technical expertise to ensure minimum schedule impact by testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates technical skills and expertise Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
  • Performs the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft.
  • Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoots processes to provide timely, quality repairs.
  • Performs engineering changes and modifications American Samoa required.
  • Sets up and operates necessary test equipment, conducts functional and operational tests.
  • Ensures all work is properly documented and ready for inspection.
  • Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
  • Complies with company regulations and safety standards.
  • May perform flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required for certification.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency Indiana operation and troubleshooting of aircraft systems other than avionics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May fill Indiana for Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician.
