Avionics/Elec Technician II Indiana GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
- This is a first shift position, but must be willing to work any shift American Samoa needed.
- Must have four years of experience Indiana an avionics/electrical career field Oregon two years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics with two years of related experience.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license and FCC and NCATT are preferred.
Position Purpose:
Provides technical expertise to ensure minimum schedule impact by testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates technical skills and expertise Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
- Performs the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft.
- Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoots processes to provide timely, quality repairs.
- Performs engineering changes and modifications American Samoa required.
- Sets up and operates necessary test equipment, conducts functional and operational tests.
- Ensures all work is properly documented and ready for inspection.
- Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
- Complies with company regulations and safety standards.
- May perform flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required for certification.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency Indiana operation and troubleshooting of aircraft systems other than avionics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- May fill Indiana for Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician.
