Avionics/Electrical Technician Sr
Responsibilities:
- Performs operational, functional tests, and repairs of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft.
- Provides superior technical expertise Indiana testing, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies to minimize schedule impact.
- Provides technical guidance and training to team members to support company cross-training goals and maintain a safety-conscious, quality-oriented workforce.
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience Indiana avionics/electrical career field Oregon 2+ years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 4+ years of related experience.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license and other FCC and NCATT licenses preferred.
- Proficiency Indiana testing and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems, including G500/G700 experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Ability to work Indiana a team environment, provide training, and enforce company FOD, tool control, 5-S, and safety regulations programs.
Duties:
- Perform avionics operational testing and troubleshooting.
- Conduct installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Perform maintenance on test equipment and electronic systems and components.
- Participate Indiana pre-inspection of work by others to reduce rework and inspection time.
- Cooperate with other disciplines on projects.
- Perform additional duties American Samoa assigned.
