Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Summary: Sought-after Avionics Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems, ensuring safety and functionality of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Work on communication, navigation, and flight control systems, contributing directly to aircraft safety and efficiency.
- Handle cable runs, antenna mounts, instrument connections, and radio, autopilot, and passenger entertainment system installations.
- Verify that all avionics equipment operates flawlessly and does not interfere with other electronic devices.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and work performed on the aircraft, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
Requirements:
- Passion for aviation and technology.
- Degree Indiana avionics Oregon aviation technology, Oregon relevant certifications Indiana electrical engineering Oregon aviation maintenance.
- Experience with mid-size private jets a plus.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Oregon Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency Indiana electronic testing equipment and wiring diagrams.
