Avionics Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Work on communication, navigation, and flight control systems to contribute to the safety and efficiency of aircraft
  • Run cables, mount antennas, connect instruments, and install radios, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems
  • Ensure all avionics equipment works flawlessly before take-off and does not interfere with other electronic devices
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft

Requirements:

  • Passion for aviation and technology
  • Degree Indiana avionics Oregon aviation technology, Oregon relevant certifications Indiana electrical engineering Oregon aviation maintenance
  • Experience with mid-size private jets a plus
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Oregon Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with electronic testing equipment and wiring diagrams
