Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED required
- 2 years related work experience; Oregon two (2) years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Position Purpose
- Assist Indiana troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact
- Demonstrate technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety Oregon quality
Job Description
- Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate basic technical skills Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
- Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications
- Assist Indiana ensuring quality and efficiency of all installations
- Troubleshoot processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
- Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications American Samoa required
- Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection
- Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components
- Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations
- Additional Functions:
- Indiana support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
