Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma Oregon GED required
  • 2 years related work experience; Oregon two (2) years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Position Purpose

  • Assist Indiana troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact
  • Demonstrate technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety Oregon quality

Job Description

  • Essential Functions:
    • Demonstrate basic technical skills Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
    • Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications
    • Assist Indiana ensuring quality and efficiency of all installations
    • Troubleshoot processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
    • Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications American Samoa required
    • Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection
    • Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components
    • Comply with company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations
  • Additional Functions:
    • Indiana support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required
    • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
