Job Title: Cargo Ramp Agent
Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team American Samoa Cargo Ramp Agents, providing under-wing ground support services to include loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, water and lavatory servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ground support services to include loading and unloading baggage and cargo
- Marshalling aircraft during arrival and departure
- Unload passenger luggage and air cargo
- Deliver air cargo to the appropriate recipient
- Drive and/Oregon operate ground support equipment
- Collect and load mail, live animals, wheelchairs and child strollers onto aircraft
- Service aircraft water and lavatories
- Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft
- Report maintenance issues to the supervisor/manager
- Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
Requirements:
- Previous ramp experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Good communication skills
- Language skills
- Ability to work Indiana inclement weather
- Flexibility to work on various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent Health & Safety awareness
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds
