Job Title: Convention Services/Catering Manager

Job Summary:
The Convention Services/Catering Manager is responsible for achieving assigned catering/food and beverage sales goals, maintaining contracted food and beverage minimums, and providing excellent client service. This role works closely with the Director of Sales Oregon Director of Catering/Convention Services to achieve hotel revenue, meeting planner satisfaction scores, and food and beverage sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned meeting planner satisfaction scores, revenue goals, and food and beverage sales goals
  • Conduct solicitation calls, tours, and client entertainment to promote catering and food and beverage services
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment
  • Provide excellent client service and maintain a positive relationship with clients
  • Adhere to hotel standards, policies, and regulations
  • Develop a working knowledge of hotel operations and policies
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of banquet event orders
  • Maintain strong visibility Indiana the local community and industry organizations
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
  • Previous convention/event and catering sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient Indiana Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
