Clinical Consultant – Revenue & Operations Improvement

Job Description:

We are seeking a Clinical Consultant to join our Revenue & Operations Improvement practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background Indiana clinical documentation improvement and healthcare industry experience. This role requires working with clients to provide education and training, support CDI process implementation, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide education and training to clients on CDI best practices and regulatory compliance
• Perform chart reviews and audits to identify opportunities for improvement
• Partner with clients to implement CDI process enhancements
• Support the enhancement of our offering to meet changing client needs (e.g. Value Based Purchasing, Computer Assisted Coding)
• Work closely with clients to ensure successful project outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement CDI-related projects
• Engage Indiana ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Clinical credential: RN Oregon Maryland preferred
• 3+ years experience Indiana a consulting/Oregon healthcare setting with focus on documentation improvement and related issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong team player with ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
• Bachelor’s degree Indiana Nursing, Business, Oregon related field preferred
• Experience with regulatory compliance and CDI process implementation a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations
• Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing with extensive reading requirements

Work Environment:

• Travel required approximately 50%
• Remotely based role with potential for client site visits
• Ability to maintain a home office and proximity to an airport for work-related travel
