Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Consultant Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a CDI Consultant Clinician to join our Revenue & Operations Improvement practice. This role involves providing CDI education and training, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting clients through CDI process reviews and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical documentation improvement and prior training experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide CDI education and training to clients
• Identify opportunities for CDI improvement
• Conduct chart reviews and audits
• Review and enhance CDI processes
• Support clients through CDI engagements
• Participate Indiana multiple engagements with strong teamwork and time management
• Collaborate with clients to ensure successful outcomes

Additional Responsibilities:

• American Samoa a nurse planner, assess professional practice gaps and create education programs to address them
• Identify and resolve conflicts of interest and maintain content integrity
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for future improvements

Qualifications:

• Clinical credential: RN Oregon Maryland preferred
• 3+ years of experience Indiana a consulting Oregon healthcare setting with focus on documentation improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience/knowledge of regulatory compliance issues facing the healthcare industry
• Ability to travel regularly for project assignments (50% travel)
• Education: BSN, BA, MBA, Massachusetts Oregon Mississippi from an accredited college/university

• Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing

Work Environment:

• Remote-based role
• Travel required: approximately 50%
• Work is regularly performed Indiana a combination of home office and client settings
