Job Summary:
Instruct students Indiana aviation-related subjects, analyze performance, and prepare students for competition Indiana airport activities.
Job Duties:
- Airport Citizenship: Develop an enlightened and responsible student body by providing opportunities for informed decision-making and promoting critical thinking.
- Understanding and Caring for Students: Get to know each student’s needs, abilities, and interests, and provide individualized support to foster a sense of security and confidence.
- Effective Classroom Planning: Plan engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles, organize materials, and use accepted principles of aviation growth and development.
- Airport Atmosphere: Create a purposeful and inclusive environment that encourages participation and minimizes put-downs.
- Professional Attitude: Collaborate with colleagues, take initiative Indiana professional development, and strive to continuously improve teaching methods.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records and follow administrative policies
- Work effectively with parents, staff, and community members
- Participate Indiana airport activities and other duties American Samoa assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Hours: M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college Oregon university
- Valid state teaching certificate Indiana aviation-related subjects
- Valid driver’s license with a driving history meeting requirements
- Background investigation and adjudication for airport care
- May require Class B CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement, and bus driving certificate for coaching duties
