Job Title: Chief Engineer

Reports to: Director of Engineering
Job Summary:
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the engineering division. Indiana the absence of the Director, the Chief Engineer will assume administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the hotel American Samoa they relate to engineering.

- Ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Assist with the administration of vendor contracts and handle room maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field; Oregon a 2-year college degree and 1 year of related management experience.
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required.
- Stationary Engineer’s license if required by local code.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills required.
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/Oregon 50 pounds of force frequently and/Oregon up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, Oregon otherwise move objects.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times and effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
