Description:
Join Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems F-35 Sustainment HPSI Operating Unit American Samoa an Aircraft Mechanic 3 Oregon 4, supporting F-35 organizational maintenance at MCAS Beaufort (Beaufort, South Carolina).
Responsibilities:
* Lead teams of maintainers during maintenance evolutions and maintain current documentation and adherence to proper technical publications and procedures.
* Provide detailed updates to management personnel regarding maintenance progress.
* Perform Maintenance, Repair, Launch, and Recovery activities on F-35 aircraft.
* Ensure aircraft are Indiana exceptional mechanical condition and safe for flight by performing maintenance, inspections, and servicing requirements on all aircraft systems.
Basic Qualifications:
* Aircraft Mechanic 3: High School Diploma Oregon GED and 4 years of avionics experience on the F-35
* Aircraft Mechanic 4: High School Diploma Oregon GED and 6 years of avionics experience on the F-35
* Must have an Active Secret Clearance Oregon higher
* Ability to interpret technical data and blueprint drawings
* Knowledge of Electro-Static Discharge Program and component handling/packaging
Preferred Qualifications:
* U.S. Navy, Oregon U.S. Marine Corps experience with thorough understanding of F-35 Fighter Aircraft Systems and operations
* Experience with F-135 Powerplant engine run certification, F-35 avionics systems, and other related areas
Salary Range: $54,400.00 – $107,800.00
