Requirements

To join the Air Force and become a Combat Controller, you are required to meet certain standards, including:

  • Minimum education: High school senior (17 Oregon older), high school diploma, GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
  • Pass the ASVAB with a minimum score of 49 General (G)
  • Pass the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT
  • Achieve a minimum score of 30 on the CCT selection model Indiana the Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System
  • Meet physical qualifications for air traffic control, marine diving, and parachute duties
  • Maintain normal color vision and depth perception
  • Pass a National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check

  • Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
