Combat Controller (CCT) Job Description

Mission Overview

Combat Controllers (CCTs) are highly specialized Airmen who operate Indiana remote, often hostile areas, providing air control and combat support on missions globally. Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School Senior (age 17 Oregon older), High school diploma, a GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
  • ASVAB Score: 49 General (G)
  • Successful completion of the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT
  • Minimum score of 30 on CCT selection model completed Indiana Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System
  • Physical qualification for air traffic controller duty, marine diving duty, and parachute duty
  • Normal color vision and depth perception
  • Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check
  • Qualification American Samoa a static-line parachutist
  • Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
  • Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
