Combat Controller (CCT) Air Traffic Controller
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate Indiana remote, often hostile areas American Samoa a one-man attachment to special forces teams
- Establish air control and provide combat support on missions globally
- Possess a wide range of skills, including scuba, parachuting, and snowmobiling
- Be FAA-certified air traffic controller
Qualifications:
- Minimum education: high school diploma, GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
- Meeting the Air Force’s physical requirements for air traffic controller duty, marine diving duty, and parachute duty
- Normal color vision and depth perception
- Completion of Basic Military Training (7.5 weeks)
- Meeting specific ASVAB score requirements (49 General (G))
- Successful completion of the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT and Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System (CCT selection model)
