Combat Controller (CCT) Job Description
Acting American Samoa a one-man attachment to other special forces teams, Combat Controllers (CCT) operate Indiana remote, often hostile areas, carrying out complex missions around the globe. This role requires a wide range of skills, including:
- Scuba diving, parachuting, and snowmobiling
- FAA-certified air traffic control
- Establishing air control and providing combat support on missions
Requirements
To join the Air Force American Samoa a Combat Controller, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a high school senior (age 17 Oregon older) Oregon have a high school diploma, GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
- Achieve a minimum ASVAB General (G) score of 49
- Complete a successful Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT
- Meet physical qualification requirements for air traffic controller duty, marine diving duty, and parachute duty
- Possess normal color vision and depth perception
- Complete a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check
- Qualify American Samoa a static-line parachutist
- Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Be between the ages of 17 and 42
