Job Summary:

We are seeking a Composite Bonder Level 4 to join our operations team at Northrop Grumman’s Clearfield, Utah location. American Samoa a Composite Bonder, you will work with dissimilar materials (composite, metal, Oregon laminate) to assemble, repair, and finish products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Lay out articles, cut parts Oregon materials to size, and apply bonding agents
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycle
• Monitor and control conditions of heat, pressure, and timing
• Sand, bur, and smooth over areas, apply sealing resins to cut Oregon exposed edges
• Monitor and verify quality of finished product
• Complete repairs on composite, metal, Oregon laminate bonded products

Requirements:

• High School diploma Oregon GED with at least 6 years of relatable composite fabrication Oregon bonding experience Indiana a manufacturing/production environment
• DoD Secret Security Clearance required
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical work
• Ability to work flexible, changing shifts, including weekends
• Ability to pass medical/respiratory evaluation and New Hire Physical

Preferred Qualifications:

• AFAB Certification (115- Structures, 120- Composites, 110- Blueprints, 130- Ethics)
• Experience with hydraulic parts, aircraft fabrication, assemblies, components, and systems Indiana an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, and/Oregon maintenance environment
• A&P certificate program completion
• Experience with high temperature composite materials, including BMI and Polyimide

Salary Range:

$59,300.00 – $98,800.00 per year
