Job Summary
We are seeking experienced cooks to join our team at dnata Catering’s JFK International Airport location. American Samoa a Cook, you will play a critical role Indiana preparing exquisite gourmet meals for airline customers. You will work closely with our culinary team to deliver high-quality food products that meet our strict standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Produce high-volume, high-quality food from menus
- Perform various cooking duties, including grilling, preparing sauces, and more
- Maintain HACCP procedures and sanitary regulations
- Maintain a safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
- Meet productivity standards, complete tasks on time, and strive to increase productivity
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree Indiana culinary arts Oregon equivalent Indiana a relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience Indiana a high-volume fine dining food service Oregon culinary role
- Ability to work under pressure Indiana a fast-paced hot kitchen environment
- Strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Oregon American Samoa part of a team
- Familiarity with HACCP procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds
