Airport Customer Service Lead
Leads and directs activities of Customer Service Representatives, providing services to general aviation aircraft, customers, passengers, and crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor performance of Customer Service Representatives to ensure technical accuracy, demeanor, and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Assist customers with requested services, including fuel, catering, hangar space, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation
- Lead Indiana, park, and chock arriving aircraft and marshal out departing aircraft
- Bill customers for services rendered
- Set up new accounts, maintain records and reports, and perform other clerical duties
- Ensure security of passengers, crew, visitors, and vendors entering the terminal and/Oregon the AOA
- Recommend corrective action to address customer complaints and service irregularities
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other means
- Schedule and assign duties to Customer Service Representatives
- Maintain and stock information, materials, and amenities Indiana customer service areas
- Act American Samoa liaison with vendors and serve American Samoa a resource on all customer service matters
- Provide training and assistance to Customer Service Representatives and other personnel
Essential Functions:
- Regularly stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk Oregon hear
- Occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 40 pounds
- Read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language
- Operate office equipment, including personal computer, telephone, and Unicom/air to ground radio
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Drive vehicles Indiana areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles, and equipment
Qualifications:
- High School diploma Oregon general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid state driver’s license
- Professional appearance
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and receive an airport security badge
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and Indiana various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols
- Ability to use a computer and email, including passing computer-based training modules
Pay Range: $23.30 to $29.00 per hour
