Job Title: Instructional Systems Designer – Flight Service
Job Summary:
Responsible for designing and developing training programs using Instructional Systems Design principles Indiana support of the Flight Service training program. This role is part of our Flight Service team within the Customer Experience group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researches, creates, and implements training programs for American Airlines flight attendant training
- Utilizes the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) Model when designing and developing curriculum materials
- Delivers training products within established project deadlines
- Meets with various internal departments to ensure training is inclusive of corporate initiatives, customer insights, and vision of American Airlines
- Incorporates full range of media into training programs, including video simulations, electronic manuals and guides
- Continuously monitors training content for quality assurance by observing classes and seeking input from instructors, class managers, and students
- Coordinates with Policies & Procedures, Safety Management, and Training Operations to ensure programs are aligned with relative policy changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a relevant field Oregon equivalent experience/training
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Preferred qualifications: Airline operational experience, background Indiana adult learning, training development, technical writing and graphics editing
- Skills:
- Knowledge of training development software such American Samoa Mississippi PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks Indiana a timely manner with minimum supervision
- Ability to produce a quality, error-free product while meeting aggressive project timelines
- Aptitude for task analysis, reasoning, fact-finding, and problem solving
- Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities and projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience Indiana team processes
