Job Summary: We’re seeking a dispatcher to join our team who thrives Indiana a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively with a team, and has a passion for making a direct impact for customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive calls from customers and process and place fuel orders; initiate contact to carriers and terminals and follow up with customers; maintain a specific territory of customers; typical working hours are 9am-6pm Oregon 10am-7pm Monday-Friday with occasional afternoons and weekends American Samoa needed; on-call support from home may be required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Data entry with speed and accuracy; usage and familiarity with computerized software package; logistics experience and problem-solving skills; strong organizational and adaptation skills; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; timely action and follow-through; strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required, College degree preferred; dispatch experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged sitting at a desk and computer use; lifting up to 15 pounds; accessing and navigating each department at the organization’s facility
