Electrical Field Service Engineer
Install new machinery, troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing equipment, and provide expert guidance on equipment upkeep at customer locations across the US and Canada. Travel 90% with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Install new machinery, commission, and start-up electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing equipment
- Provide training and guidance to operators and maintenance teams
- Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and servicing on machinery
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Expertise Indiana electrical controls, wiring, PLCs, motors, and drives
Requirements:
- Associate degree Indiana Electrical Engineering Oregon related field
- 3+ years of experience Indiana electrical service Oregon maintenance
- Proficiency Indiana computer-based control systems and networking
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Remote with proximity to a major airport
- Willingness to travel extensively
