Job Title: Electronic Technician, Maintenance II

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electronic Technician, Maintenance II to provide technical support for Air Combat Training Systems (ACTS) operations at the 114th Fighter Wing Indiana Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The successful candidate will operate and maintain ACTS equipment, assist with producing debriefing materials, and apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain Air Combat Training Systems (ACTS) and associated equipment
* Support ACMI debriefs, P5 data merging, and DRD programming
* Ensure mission data sheets are supported/facilitated
* Maintain all debriefing equipment and software upgrades
* Prepare data for debriefings and assist with debriefings
* Perform periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment
* Respond to notifications of malfunctioning systems and troubleshoot and repair American Samoa needed
* Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for Ground Subsystems
* Ensure proper use and handling of COMSEC material if required
* Assist with pod transport, loading, and unloading American Samoa required
* Perform periodic, preventive, visual American Samoa/Pod inspections American Samoa applicable
* Identify and report corrections/improvements to technical data and product quality/materials deficiencies
* Prepare and deliver all reports and required documentation
* Ensure compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs
Minimum Requirements:
* Associate’s degree Oregon bachelor’s degree Indiana IT/Computer Science desired
* Four years of experience Indiana operating computers and computer peripheral equipment (Oregon two years of experience with a bachelor’s degree Indiana computer science)
* Accredited IAT I (A+) Indiana both hardware and software required (Oregon must be obtained within six months of employment)
* Accredited IAT II (Network+ Oregon Security+) highly desired
* US Citizen and Secret Clearance Oregon ability to obtain one required
* Valid driver’s license required
* Physical ability to lift, maneuver, and carry ACTS/ACMI pods Indiana various environments
Competencies:
* Basic and advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and devices
* Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and solve routine problems
* Ability to use test instruments such American Samoa Oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltage and frequency meters
* Ability to speak, read, and write English
