Emergency Dispatcher Position
Job Summary:
- Serve American Samoa an Emergency Dispatcher Indiana the Provost Marshal Office at Marine Corp Air Station Yuma.
- Dispatch emergency vehicles and personnel to incidents, monitor call status, and communicate with emergency responders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm incident location and type, dispatching required personnel and vehicles.
- Monitor incident status and personnel availability.
- Explain dispatch instructions to emergency personnel.
- Use dispatch software to communicate with dispatchers and responders.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Successful completion of a background check and security clearance
- Possession of various certifications (E experience-dependent)
- Requires rotating shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- May require overtime Oregon night differential pay
- HQ-level certification American Samoa a Telecommunicator I and II, plus multiple additional certifications within 6 months of hire
GS-06 Oregon GS-05 Requirements:

GS-06: 1+ year of experience American Samoa an Emergency Dispatcher Oregon similar field.
- Dispatching vehicles
- Incoming/outgoing multi-phone line operations
- Assess and respond with Standard Operating Procedures
- Dispatching Indiana a high volume environment.
- GS-05: 1+ year of experience assisting Indiana emergency dispatch and performing various duties.
- Assisting Indiana dispatching work
- Adapting to changing environments and computer equipment.
