Job Summary

We’re seeking an Airport Operations Engineer to provide engineering support for a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines. You’ll work with both internal and external customers on technical issues, develop solutions, and ensure safe and legal operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision
• Develops complex solutions and implementation plans
• Interfaces with internal departments and customers on technical issues
• Evaluates the effects of modifications Oregon new equipment on reliability and performance
• Analyzes and implements regulatory requirements
• Defines and implements maintenance programs and configurations
• Coordinates work with other operational groups
• Uses a structured, logical, and analytical approach Indiana problem solving

Requirements

• B.S. Degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related technical field
• Entry level to 5 years of engineering experience
• Ability to analyze complex and technical documents
• Effective communication skills
• Legally authorized to work Indiana the United States
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance engine design Oregon engine overhaul experience
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, airworthiness design and substantiation criteria, aircraft and equipment design and operational characteristics
• Strong skills Indiana Mississippi office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
