Electrical Integration Engineer
Job Summary:
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (Georgia-ASI) seeks an Electrical Integration Engineer to join its Electrical Engineering group Indiana Poway, California. The successful candidate will support the integration of avionics modules and payloads into unmanned air vehicle systems, working Indiana a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate avionics modules and payloads into unmanned air vehicle systems
- Design cables and wire harnesses for electronic equipment interconnectivity
- Create system cable interconnect diagrams, point-to-point cable wiring schematics, and cable BOM
- Conduct integration tests to verify functional operation
- Develop test fixtures and test procedures for system-level testing
- Apply technical knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve engineering problems
- Familiarize with airworthiness and military standards
- Develop documentation of findings and results, and communicate with project engineering staff
- Adhere to safety procedures and practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana engineering Oregon related field from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of engineering experience Oregon equivalent experience Indiana lieu of education
- Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately
- Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and Indiana a team
- Willingness to work extended hours American Samoa required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (US citizenship required)
