Job Overview
The Engineer is responsible for maintaining the physical structure and equipment of the store Indiana good working order. Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, emergency and corrective repairs, and regular inspections of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment. The Engineer must maintain effective communication with the Chief Engineer and Store Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems and equipment.
- Perform emergency, corrective, and routine repairs on equipment and systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems according to schedule.
- Maintain records of all inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Maintain EPA Universal Certification and knowledge of current legislation related to refrigerant handling.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays American Samoa required.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience, preferably Indiana a maintenance Oregon engineering role.
- Indiana-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid EPA Universal Certification and a strong understanding of relevant legislation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
