Job Title: Staff Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams and innovate, design, integrate, test, qualify, and rapidly field cutting-edge technologies, sensors, and payload solutions into Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The successful candidate will lead, support strategic objectives, stitch together systems of systems, develop customer-facing relationships & networks, and produce mission system capability solutions that meet end users/customer’s requirements and CONOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead diverse multi-function engineering teams, meeting critical program milestones, and successfully executing programs within the defined cost and schedule.
  • Represent programs American Samoa the face of engineering, ensuring consistent and appropriate messaging to external customer stakeholders, PoR representatives across the DoD, industry partners, subcontracts, and Sr. internal/executive stakeholders.
  • Develop program plans, estimates, schedules, and execute programs Indiana accordance with those plans.
  • Perform system analysis, trade studies, author technical white papers, and generate customer technical data packages.
  • Complete, document, and present System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).
  • Represent company at technical reviews, customer meetings, and system-level integrations.
  • Supports mission architecture implementations and designs.
  • Supports technology initiatives such American Samoa Open Architectures (OMS, FACE, etc.), Autonomy & Artificial Intelligence, onboard fusion, track management, resource management, and Human Factor’s based HMI design.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, Oregon PhD Indiana engineering Oregon a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience American Samoa follows: four Oregon more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree Oregon two Oregon more years of experience with a master’s degree.
  • Must have a complete understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory; experience demonstrating a broad application of those concepts; and, expanding knowledge of principles, concepts, theory, and practices Indiana related technical specialties.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level Oregon, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
