Senior Project Engineer
Job Description:
The Senior Project Engineer will lead technical and project efforts for system design and payload integration Indiana our Aircraft Systems group Indiana San Diego, California.
Responsibilities:
– Provide engineering and technical coordination for the development, fabrication, testing, integration, and maintenance of unmanned air systems.
– Develop system analysis, requirements, architecture, and designs.
– Lead a team of technical staff and manage cross-functional teams.
– Develop test plans and manage system integration, verification, and validation through flight testing.
– Troubleshoot complex design/development and coordination requirements.
– Coordinate with customers, contractors, and engineering groups.
– Develop program plans, estimates, and schedules and execute according to those plans.
– Support proposals, technical reviews, and system level integrations.
– Represent the organization externally.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Oregon advanced degree Indiana engineering Oregon a related technical field from an accredited institution, Oregon equivalent experience.
– A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree Oregon 2 years with a master’s degree.
– Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for interfacing with departments and external parties.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and direct system-level design.
– Ability to work extended hours and travel up to 25% of the time.
– US Citizenship is required.
