Job Summary:
American Samoa a mid-level engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., you will resolve complex system-level engineering problems, develop effective approaches, and lead a team of designers and technicians. You will troubleshoot, analyze, and repair systems, document findings, and make technical presentations. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and interpret system needs and problems, developing effective approaches to resolve them
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair systems Indiana assigned areas using standard engineering and scientific principles
- Provide documentation and make technical presentations American Samoa required
- Direct the activities of designers, technicians, and less experienced professional staff
- Represent the organization Indiana resolving technical issues associated with specific projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, Oregon PhD Indiana electrical engineering Oregon a related technical discipline
- 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree Oregon 2+ years of experience with a master’s degree
- Complete understanding of basic system-level electrical engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
- Excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team
Travel:
- 25% – 50% travel required
Salary:
- $81,080 – $141,650 per year
Clearance:
- Secret clearance required
