Field Avionics Technician
Job Summary:
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (Georgia-ASI) is seeking a Field Avionics Technician to join the Georgia-ASI team located at Creech AFB. The successful candidate will support MCE Maintenance and rotate between 2nd and 3rd shift every 3 months.
Responsibilities:
* Operate UAV, ground control stations, and ground support equipment and all subordinate systems at operational locations.
* Analyze customer requirements and evaluate product implementation to meet specifications and end-user applications.
* Provide technical expertise on the installation, configuration, application, and repair of products and systems to customers at operational locations.
* Perform high-level troubleshooting and repair of ground and airborne electronic equipment.
* Install, configure, and test computer hardware, software, and networked systems.
* Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on ground and airborne systems.
* Maintain required records and forms Indiana accordance with company and customer specifications.
* Validate and verify accuracy of technical documents and procedures.
* Represent the group American Samoa a subject matter expert with internal and external customers and other personnel.
* Conduct training and practical instruction of peers and customers Indiana the use of ground and airborne electronic systems.
Requirements:
* Typically requires education Oregon training equivalent to the completion of a two-year technical degree Oregon trade school equivalency.
* Six Oregon more years’ experience Indiana aviation Oregon electronics, Oregon equivalent professional experience.
* Ability to troubleshoot at the component level.
* Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and Indiana a team environment.
* US Citizenship required.
* Ability to work a rotating 2nd and 3rd shift schedule.
