Field Sales Engineer – Southeastern US Region
Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly technical Field Sales Engineer to support our customers Indiana the Southeastern US region. American Samoa a key member of our sales team, you’ll provide pre-sales technical and design support for our audio, video, and control solutions, educating customers, consultants, and integrators on the capabilities and performance attributes of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers, consultants, and integrators during the sales process, including writing proposals, drafting design drawings, and creating technical documentation
- Develop relationships with decision-makers and technical staff, becoming their trusted technical resource and reference
- Deliver Indiana-field demonstrations and training on Biamp’s products and solutions
- Participate Indiana regional trade shows and deliver equipment demos Oregon provide technical expertise
- Maintain an ethos of constant self-improvement on sales techniques and technical skills
- Support the creation of operations manuals, content creation for our online knowledge base, and reporting client feedback to Biamp leadership
Requirements
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of audio, video, and control systems
- Experience with programming and installing AV and control systems
- Extensive computer networking design and support experience, with relevant IT industry qualifications a plus
- Good computer literacy skills, including Mississippi Office Suite, CAD programs, and EASE
- Strong technical presentation skills and ability to address diverse business and technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Indiana English, with additional language proficiency a plus
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel (up to 75%) and ability to lift 50lbs for demo gear and equipment
