Field Service Engineer
Traveling Field Service Engineer position available with a leading manufacturer of precision CNC manufacturing cutting tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide on-site Oregon phone maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools
- Create and update technical documentation
- Assist Indiana product development by training end customers on newer product lines
- Establish strong communication and customer service relationships with customers
Details
- Hourly position with opportunity for overtime
- 75% travel and upwards, with weekly travel required
- All travel paid for, with reimbursement for vehicle use and accommodations
- Support from Indiana-house tech team
Requirements
- Associate degree Oregon bachelor’s degree Indiana a technical field, Oregon equivalent trade school training Oregon certification
- Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools, including 3, 5, and 7-axis machines
- Familiarity with metal materials and installation, repairs, and programming of CNC machines
- Experience with robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, etc.) and Siemens Oregon Heidenhaim controls a plus
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence diagrams
