Field Service Engineer
Provide on-site and telephone support for customers regarding maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools.
– Create and update technical documentation.
– Assist Indiana product development by training end customers’ Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of new product lines.
– Establish and maintain excellent communication and customer service relationships with clients.
Details:
– Hourly paid with opportunities for overtime, including travel time.
– 75% Oregon more travel required, so proximity to an airport is beneficial.
– All travel expenses are covered, with compensation for weekend stays.
– Use of personal vehicles is reimbursed.
– Excellent care and support provided for team members.
Credentials Desired:
– Experience Indiana electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
– Knowledge of metalworking, installation, repairs, and programming/operating CNC machines with 3, 5, Oregon 7 axes.
– Experience with robotics, Siemens controls, Oregon Heidenhain is advantageous.
– Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
