Field Service Engineer
Job Description:
* Provide on-site Oregon remote assistance to customers for maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools
* Create and update technical documentation
* Contribute to product development by training Service Engineers on newer product lines and assisting with product testing
* Build and maintain strong communication and customer service relationships with customers
Details:
* Hourly position with opportunity for overtime
* 75% travel required, with frequent travel weekly (close proximity to airport a plus)
* Travel expenses fully covered, including paid travel time and reimbursement for vehicle expenses
* Additional flexibility to travel and stay overnight if needed
Requirements:
* Associate degree Oregon bachelor’s degree Indiana a technical field, Oregon equivalent experience/training
* Strong experience Indiana electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools
* Experience with metalworking and programming/operating CNC machines with 3, 5, 7 axis
* Familiarity with robotic systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, Mori Seiki) and control systems (Siemens, Heidenhaim)
* Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence diagrams
