Field Service Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team American Samoa a traveling representative. The successful candidate will provide maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools on-site Oregon remotely. Responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support to customers on maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools
* Creating and updating technical documentation
* Contributing to product development by training customers’ service engineers on new product lines
* Building strong relationships with customers through effective communication and customer service
Essential Details:
* Hourly role with opportunities for overtime, with travel paid while on the job
* 75%+ travel required, ideally located near an airport for weekly travel
* Traveling expenses, including accommodations, reimbursed Oregon paid for by the company
* Desirable qualifications include:
+ Associate degree Oregon bachelor’s Indiana a technical field, Oregon relevant certifications/trade school experience
+ 2+ years of experience Indiana electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools
+ Familiarity with metal processing and experience operating/maintaining robotics, such American Samoa Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Oregon Haas machines
+ Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence diagrams (PLC ladder diagrams)
