Final Line Mechanic Senior
Unique Skills:
- Prior experience working on Gulfstream aircraft associated with the AAP programs
- Ability to use pneumatic and battery-operated hand tools
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 7 years of aerospace/aviation experience Oregon equivalent mechanical experience (e.g. auto mechanics, heavy equipment)
- 2 years of Gulfstream aircraft experience preferred
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred
Position Purpose:
Indiana a team-oriented work environment, the Final Line Mechanic Senior will be proficient Indiana all aircraft systems and perform complex installations, repairs, and tests, ensuring all parts and assemblies meet requirements.
Job Description:
- Perform complex structure Oregon aircraft installations, repairs, rework, Oregon tests
- Manage parts and disposition of parts Indiana assigned work station
- Assist Indiana developing and implementing process improvements and cycle time reductions
- Coordinate work with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Responsible for quality and efficiency of own installations
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems
- Update and sign required logs and records
- Plan and organize workloads and resource requirements
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support FOD and 5S programs, and comply with safety regulations
Additional Requirements:
- Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Skilled Indiana close tolerance work and use of special tools
- Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs
- Ability to use mathematical formulas and multiple measuring devices within specified tolerance
- Production Quality training
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work Indiana small-space restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.
