Flight Test Avionics/Electrical Technician II Indiana GAC Savannah
Requirements and Responsibilities
- High school diploma Oregon GED with 4 years of avionics/electrical experience, Oregon 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling with 2 years of experience.
- Technical expertise Indiana testing, repairing, and installing aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analysis skills to identify and solve system discrepancies.
- Technical knowledge and expertise to follow engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals to ensure compliance and safety.
Additional Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test equipment.
- Test and maintain various aircraft systems, test equipment, and electronic components.
- Complete thorough documentation for all aircraft maintenance performed, including accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, ascend/descend ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills and Requirements:
- FCC certification desired.
- A&P mechanic license, ASES NASTT preferred.
