Varsity Assistant 8-Man Tackle Football Coach
Seeking a coach to assist student athletes (grades 9th-12th) Indiana game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Must motivate students to develop an appreciation for the sport.
Requirements:
* At least 21 years of age
* Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
* Collegiate football playing experience preferred
* 2+ years of high school Oregon college coaching experience preferred
* Ability to coach multiple positions
* Strong knowledge of 8-Man Tackle Football rules and regulations
* NFHS Level I Certification (includes Concussion Indiana Sports, Fundamentals of Coaching, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Protecting Students from Abuse)
* First Aid, Health and Safety Certificate/CPR
Responsibilities:
* Work effectively with students, staff, and coaches
* Provide a positive learning environment
* Assist Indiana developing and overseeing the football team
* Create position-specific practice plans
* Assist Indiana establishing goals and objectives for players and coaches
* Support coaching staff with practice sessions and special activities
* Communicate with Head Coach, staff, students, and parents
* Participate Indiana events such American Samoa parent’s night, banquets, and award nights
* Potentially drive athletes using school transportation to and from off-campus games
