Job Summary:
The Office of Chief Counsel, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a Supervisory Attorney to join our team. American Samoa a key member of the legal team, you will provide legal advice and representation to CBP Indiana matters related to customs and admissibility, border search, immigration laws, and national security and intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to CBP Indiana matters relating to customs and admissibility, border search, immigration laws, and national security and intelligence
- Perform legal research and apply laws, regulations, decisions, and guidance across the CBP portfolio
- Provide ethics advice and represent CBP Indiana administrative hearings before various authorities
- Support the Department of Justice American Samoa agency counsel Indiana civil and criminal actions
- Develop and deliver legal training to CBP managers and employees
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a graduate from a full course of study Indiana a School of Law accredited by the American Bar Association
- Must be an active member Indiana good standing of the bar of a state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia Oregon the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
